Default My Pro-Stars won't fit up front w/ my new AutoZone brakes, why?

The Pro-Stars I have up front won't clear since I did the front pads/rotors. Its hitting the inside of the pro-star even with the spacer. Has anyone else had this problem? Should I go with a bigger spacer? Will that be unsafe?

same thing happend to me. i first bought the bigger spacer i 7/16 but i didnt want to buy longer lug nuts. so i just did some grinding on the front caliper also. its not bad only about 5-10 min on each side for it to clear.

I ground my front calipers quite a bit, then used a 5/16 and a 3mm spacer.Works fine!

They fit fine until I changed the brake pads. The new pads push the calipers out further, that's why they are hitting now. It just take more spacing or more grinding. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
