moser 12 bolt tighten preload bolts to 5 or 10 ft lbs? I have my ta cover off of my moser 12 bolt due to the paper gasket leaking, I am replacing it with red rtv silicone.
what do I tighten the 2 center preload bolts to?
I have heard both 5 and 10 foot pounds??????

Re: moser 12 bolt tighten preload bolts to 5 or 10 ft lbs? The TA installation instructions says no more than 10 ft/lbs. They just need to be snug to preload the bearings without distorting them. That's all.
