How to get axles out???

How to get axles out??? How do the axles come out of the stock 10 bolt. I undid the backing plate and they come out a half inch maybe but won't come out any more. I need to get them out so I can use the plates on my 12 bolt.

Re: How to get axles out??? you have to undo everything off the ends of the axles...then you need to be able to push them in. of course make sure you have that plate in the middle removed first. once you push the axles in the c-clips will drop off and you can pull the axles out <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
