Ready to order12-bolt, options???

Ready to order12-bolt, options??? OK, My rear went out on me Thursday, again. I need help determining if I am ordering everything I need to bolt it right in. I hate finding little surprises during the installation.
Car 99 SS M6 ABS, traction control.
This is what I was going to order:
Moser 12 bolt with Eaton 33 spline posi, 3.73,
TA girdle option,
1350 Yoke,
4 channel ABS setup,
exciter rings installed,
I haven't decided yet on if I want the c-clips or the bearings pressed on the axles. What about the universal joint, is there a particular part number for the 1350 yoke? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Is this all the info. I need to order? What other pieces will I need to ease with the istallation?

Re: Ready to order12-bolt, options??? Get your bearings pressed on . Eliminate the c clips. Youll need to take the axles to a shop to have them pressed, and put your gears for the Traction control if necess.I got my unversal at NAPA, part # 447 I believe. Moser says DO NOT use snnthetic gear oil, and dont forget the limited slip additive!Expect a little noise from the rear, its normal.Good luck. BTW, I didnt use the gasket for the rear cover, just sealant. NO LEAKS!!

I just ordered mine last week. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> I was going to suggest for $75 yes go ahead and have new exciter rings installed from Moser. I got 4.10 gears but I have an M6 which will be easier on my car with that 6th gear. If you have an A4 get the 3.73 if you drive the car around alot. Other than that enjoy it man it will be well worth it.

Re: Ready to order12-bolt, options??? I just got done putting mine in, in fact I'm out the door to heat cycle it now. My advice get the bearings pressed on, so much nicer of a setup. What you have listed though seems pretty good, pretty much what I have. I had the exciter rings swapped out at Napa and they pressed the bearings on. Charged 33 bucks to do all that.
You'll also need a new u-joint for your drive shaft. There is a 3R to 1350 cross over that you can get from Napa. That u-joint has equal widths on both sides, but the caps are different diameters. Make sure that you get the right ones. On my driveshaft I had to get a Spicer u-joint instead that had 1.0625" caps instead of the 1.125" caps found on the 3R. E-mail me if you need the part numbers for both u-joints.
