Best fluid for 9" with Truetrac? Additive?

Best fluid for 9" with Truetrac? Additive? Guys, I'm clueless on this one. Any recommendations on the best fluid to use for my rear? I've heard that Redline or Royal Purple doesn't require additive?

If your running a gear type LSD such as the truetrac you need no additive, and i would run regular 80w-90 in it. If its a clutch type LSD never use synthetic makes them slip more.

Just to make this thread useful, I called up Eaton (they now own Detroit Locker) and talked to their tech. He said to run 80w/90 dino. He also mentioned that when he gets calls complaining about the noise from a Truetrac, it's almost always due to running a synthetic gear oil.
