I can't give you a, per se, holding capability for them since the vehicle
combination is the determining factor. But what I can tell you is, the 300
series is the least aggressive material, typically used in under 400 HP apps
with LS1. The 910 is a higher holding capacity disc, more aggressive on
engagement. Another alternative you may have seen on the boards is the 980,
which is a combo disc using 900 series on the pressure plate side, 300
series flywheel side. We typically use these discs where the stock flywheel
is retained since it is easier on the mating surface. This may be another
good alternative for you.
4.10 gear = a huge difference in engagement feel. You will not have to slip
the clutch near as much to take off, meaning less chatter. If this is a mod
in your future, you might want to do this before changing the clutch disc...
Thanks!
Mike

Mike-
Two questions:
1. What is the HP holding capability of the 310M, how about the 910?
2. Would going to 4.10 gears stop the chatter I now have?
Thanks
Mike

At your power level, you could go to a less aggressive disc material such as
the 310M, our street/strip organic. The chatter problem is no doubt
stemming from the vehicle weight and the 3.42 gearing; a lower gear would
mean slipping the clutch less to get moving and thus less chatter.

FWIW, I have had a 6130 in my car and the chatter was almost non existant. I have buddy's running the 6130 as well with zero chatter.
I am now running a 910 disk, and it chatters more than the 6130 IMO...
