which diff do i have?
which diff do i have? hey guys i searched and read thru the faq at the top...but i can't find out how i can tell what differential i have in my 10 bolt. My rear cover is leaking and i'm trying to figure out cost. I know you need an additive for the auburn but not the torsen (correct me if i'm wrong). My car is a 93 formula with a 6 speed. any help would be appreciated. thanks.
I'm pretty sure you would have an auburn. I don't think the torsens came around until the LS1 era.
In any case, just pick up the additive when you get the gear oil, it is only a couple bucks more.
