I think that the consensus is that as soon as you bolt some slicks or Drag Radials under your man shift car, you should get ready for a Moser...even with a stock engine. It may last for a few months if you don't beat on it too hard, but what fun would that be?
Mine held up fine in my automatic car running mid 12s. As soon as I put N2O on it...I popped it. I got one full pass, 11.56 w/ only a 1.71 60'. The next pass I did a Big burnout, the car barely moved a car length before it let go.
My recommendation? I'd buy a rear from Moser and get some slicks on the way at the same time!

I got 60 NA runs and 8 Nitrous runs with no problems,but for piece of mind I installed a 12 bolt <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
