Will a ACPT Carbon Fiber Driveshaft fit with a Moser 12 Bolt with a 1350 Billet Yoke? The engine, transmission and rearend arent in the car, so I cant measure. Can you run the stock driveshaft with a Moser 12 Bolt with the 1350 Billet Yoke or do you have to have it shortened? If I get a ACPT Carbon Fiber Driveshaft with a 1310 u joint, what do I do to make it work with the 12 Bolt?

ok lets see.. the lengthe of the ds wont change depending on the yoke..
if you do not have the new ds yet, call whoever and ask what yoke is on it..
commonly, when you add the 12 bolt, most shorten the driveshaft around an inch for breathing room. once you get everything back in the car (the only way to properly measure) then relay that length to the ds people.
if you have a 1350 on the moser get a 1350 on the ds. and vice versa, though conversion u joints are available.
from what i can read i'd say you have a 12 bolt with 1350 and a stock length cfds with a 1310 yoke. you CAN just getthe conversion 1350 to 1310 u joint at napa and try it, but odds are it will be too long or just too tight to be safe and you should have it shortened.. is this possible with a cfds? i dont know, so why not save a bunch of time and money and get a custom dennys shaft and be done with it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

From what I remember the ACPT in the 3" diameter is not offered with a 1350 u-joint just the 1310. It also cant be shortend since its carbon fiber. A crossover ujoint might work but probably would be a little tight.

The billet 1350 yoke is one inch longer than the standard 1350 yoke on a MOSER 12 bolt. So your CF shaft will be one inch too long. A 3 inch CF shaft comes with a 1310 yoke due to the 3 inch shaft diameter. You can not shorten a cf shaft 1 inch due to the yoke penetration into the shaft. If you force a stock length shaft into a billet 1350 yoke it will destroy the trans seal and could break the trans tailshaft.

I have a 12bolt with the 1310 yoke and a ACPT carbon fiber driveshaft. The fit is tight but I have not had any problems in over a year with it.
