Supporting the rear end. I'm a bit under-educated when it comes to drive trains but is their any device that helps stabalize the rear end in these cars? to make it more sturdy?
nothing and i want to keep it that way.. the reason for the post though is that my friend talked to a guy that had a support bar i beleive holding his rear end in place in his lt1 and was wondering what its called and if its worth buying
I think your refering to the panhard bar, which keeps the rear from moving side to side. It comes stock on these cars, but an upgraded one helps the rear fell more in one place. you can find them here if you want more info: http://www.umiperformance.com/fbodyphb.aspx
