Default Auburn Gear Oil Change

I added a bottle of Synthetic M1 Gear oil. Then came on here and read that your not supposed to use synthetic.

You think i should drain it or add a bottle of regular gear oil and some of that CRC Limited Slip Additive and be done with it.

Damn I'm a lazy bastard though. Am I over thinking this? I can't find any facts about it being bad, just people saying not to use it.

gm recommends not using it and its a clutch type diff so the clutches may not grab. its easy should only take 20 minutes to change. pull the pan and wipe everything off with a clean rag then turn the driveshaft to try to get the rest of the lube out of the diff. bolt the cover back on and fill-er-up.
