4.30's or 4.10's with a M6 408??
I am dropping a 6 speed in my car and my current gears whine so I will be swapping them out. I am unsure if I should go with 4.30's or 4.10's. I will be running 315/35-17 MT Drag Radials on the street and 325/50-15's at the track.
Thanks

Hey Mark, wouldnt you want to find out what rpm your motor makes peak power at so you can find your shift points and redline when crossing the traps and then use that info to calculate what gear would be best for your combo?

from the reading that I have done if you are going to drive it at all on the street, run more 1/4 mile than 1/8 and want to trap 130 or better then 4.10 is the way to go. 4.30 on the highway with a standard fbody 6m ratios will be around 2500rpm at 75mph on 17's.
