Transmission Problem... Alright I have an A4 and the problem with my car is when i take off and the car is shifting into 2nd the rpm's will go up but the car wont really move and I can get off of it at 2k rpms and let the rpm's drop and get back on the gas and it will shift or the car will finally start going while I have the gas down. Also when I floor the car from a punch the rpm's will shoot up to high rpms but the car will not move. Another thing is when I downshift into 3rd,2nd,or 1st it wont pull back as much. This all started happening after a night of racing and I'm not for sure what is wrong so I was just going to ask here before I did anything else. Torque Converter maybe?

Re: Transmission Problem... Ouch! Could be your 2nd gear band going bad. Just to be safe though, check the tranny fluid. It shouldn't have changed after racing, but you never know. Doesn't sound good.
