Anyone running a spool with 4ch ABS???

Why wouldja wanna go w/ a spool? Sure would make a hella racket around every corner...

As far as noise, I was referring to the fact that ya would always be dragging one tire (the inner) around every corner. Not very good for handling or tire life. Or for trying NOT to get attention from the gendarmes...

Re: Anyone running a spool with 4ch ABS??? You wanna hear noisy, try a Detroit Locker. I had a Locker in the 9" in my last car (2000 Z28 A4), and it was horrible, I changed to a spool, and it was silent, very stretable. The whole tire chirping thing is overly exaggerated, IMO. I drove around with a spool quite a bit, and on radials, it's pretty quiet, not to mention the tires (radials, that is) did not wear out noticeably quicker with the spool than with the locker. The only time the tire dragging eve became an issue was in a tight turn, such as a u-turn or turning into a diveway or parking place. My concern is this: In my old car, I had 3 channel ABS, which wouldn't work with a 9", anyways. Now, I have 4ch, and can make it and my TCS work with the 9", but what will happen to the ABS? Will it work, not, or some of the time?
