01 M6 Car won't hold 3rd gear anymore, just pops out.So I ordered the steel shift fork , all syncro pieces and manual from D+D.I can see the assembly when you take off the input cover.
How involved is it in rebuilding?I have no problems getting dirty
Thanks

I notice there is a lot of snap rings Figure's the fork/syncro setup is the last one to get to

Significantly easier than the Super T-10 that I'm rebuilding right now from my 79Z. T56 was cake, IMHO. If you have the manual, no problem. You just need a good pair of snap ring pliers (that can spread them wide), and maybe a puller, and if you're going to do all the synchros, a press with a bearing splitter. Fortunately I had access to all that, so my T56 rebuild went well.
Good luck,
Andrew
