deff not what i was expecting i have a 2002 z28 with 2.73 and i ran 13.1 @ 107. i just put 3.73 and ran 13.0 wtf is that .1 of a second sounds stupid...i also tuned it and then ran 12.9. but still gears still did nothing..wats up with that
I didn't gain .1 sec when I went from 3.42 to 4.10 until I got better tires and left with more RPMS (M6). After that I gained .4~.5.

My fastest time at the track with the 2.73's was a 14.5 second ET. I put 3.42's in and immediately went 14.0. Of course, I crossed the finish line still in 2nd gear and pulled 2.2 60's with the 2.73's.
A lid, hooker catback,tune, and 3.73's got me a 13.0 last month with 1.80 60's on street tires althought the DA was a bit better.

That is why I am going to stall before I swap gears. I ran a 12.9 @ 108 with 2.73s. I will try an ss3600 and if that sucks around town then I will swap gears. But the gains that people see with gears just aren't worth $500 plus IMO. Plus, 2200rpms @ 90 mph is quite nice.
