In the time that I've spent reading this thread, I could have gone out and won the lottery. My lawyers will be in touch "Uncle Dave."

If you want a fast car that is built right you have to spend more than $15K. You get what you pay for. Pony cars (mustangs, F-bodies, chargers, ect.) are low-budget fun. Stuff is cheap and it will break. Period. It took me FOREVER to get that through my skull, but after owning 3 "pony cars" it finally sunk in. Stop trying to make a silk purse from a sows ear and if you want perfection then go buy it. Just be prepared to pay more than econo-car price for it. I think my WS6 will hold togather long enough for me to get done with my bacherlor's in nursing and then I can start thinking about a sports car. Save up and do it right

EDIT:

PS. Do you honestly think you are going to grab the largest vehicle manufacturer in the world by the ear and tweak it?

This is one of the silliest things I've ever heard of. If there aren't laws against frivolous lawsuits, there really ought to be. Heres a thought; either stop racing and abusing your car or just buy a damn rear like everyone else did. I swear to christ...

These rear ends fail a lot under normal usage too. It isn't always beating on it that does it. Usually is though.

Under different circumstances, like a warranty claim that was denied, I have wondered if you could use the photo in the Firebird sales brochure of the Trans Am doing a burnout to get them to pay the claim...

*I was only doing what the car in the picture was doing* LOL
