Default ptp vs motive?

Is Power Transfer Parts (ptpgears) the same company as Motive, if so is it the lower end or higher end or if not are they worse or better than motive?

Any input is good, thanks

I have never even heard of PTP. It is probably somebodies private label brand, where are you buying them from? Who knows who actually makes them, probably an overseas manufacturer and they have them boxed with their own name. They could be almost anyones, you would need to look at the markings on them to see.

I just checked online, they are Richmonds lower end gear.

Would that make them any better or worse than Motive Performance gears?

what does "ptp" stand for?

I saw Richmondslower gear but, does that mean somebody else (company) is making it for Richmonds and Richmondsis approving them/It?

If you read that page no where does it say that they are manufactured by them or in the US, just that it is a line of gears from them. That would lead me to believe that they are imported since MADE IN THE USA is a good selling point. I would say they are probably equivilent to the mid or low end Motive Gear stuff (the blue box is mid range, and they also sell some white box stuff for people to private label). Without knowing where they are produced and who the plant is it is hard to say.

Definitely not on par with a Motive "Performance" gear set?
