If you purchase the gears for use with a standard carrier offset... yes.

Standard to standard = no problem.

Standard to thick or thin with the associated posi = problem.

I just broke my eaton posi last week, good luck with yours. I thought the gears would break before the eaton, I guess not in my case.

Speed demon24~ I am interested in what broke actually...

In contrast, I have had my EATON for going on 40 plus years... and have never had an issue. Most of the time pushing more power thru it than most here... and I am talking about countless 1.46 60's on a 6000rpm launch... and has even run a 1:42 at Willow. Obviously, with different set-ups... but the same diff being used in both examples.

I was just wondering, as I would like to keep tabs on what, if any, commonality there are in reference to recent failures. It would help with my interface with EATON themselves.

Yup. Another check mark for the spiders...

Yeah it is the most common failure I have seen as of late (with the newer products; they are not as good as the old OE stuff IMO), I actually have the sets I use from the newer Eatons heat treated a little differently. That pretty much solved the issues I have been seeing...

They run about 230.00 a set of four, for new 33 spline units.
