Relocation Brackets and 12 Bolt question....

Relocation Brackets and 12 Bolt question.... I currently have an Eibach Pro Kit and have BMR welded relocation brackets. When I install the Moser, what brackets do you recommend? Who has them? Welded or bolt-on?
Oh yeah, how much will the Moser raise the car in the back? I really like the stance as is.

Re: Relocation Brackets and 12 Bolt question.... randy, you seen my car, i think it raised my rear up about .75-1" total. not a big deal really. my lowering springs dropped the rear a little bit too before i had the moser installed. about the relocation brakets, i think you are not gonna go wrong with either BMR or Spoohn. i choose sphoon (or however you spell it) because they look cool and beefy. and if you are gonna hammer that thing on slicks (and i know you will) then i say no doubt welded. it is easy esp if you have the moser out too. with all that pressure, i dont like to trust bolts, weld her up.

Re: Relocation Brackets and 12 Bolt question.... Be carefull if you weld the brackets on while the rear is out of the car. I got the BMR brackets, welded them on off the car in what looked right, but when I installed the rear, I found the angles to be wrong and it pulled the rear forward. I had to cut and pull the angle forward. In doing this outside the car, it would not look like it was right.
Also, after the install mine rised about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch.

Re: Relocation Brackets and 12 Bolt question.... come to think about it randy, i had mark install the Moser a long time ago and afterwards, i have the LCA Relocation brakets welded on for proper angles. sorry for the confusion. i had a race shop that builds chasis do it for me. made a big difference. i also had relocation brakets put on my stock rear too since the car was lowered long ago.

Re: Relocation Brackets and 12 Bolt question.... Thanks guys for the input. I plan to install the brackets post install of the rearend just like I did the stocker. Spohn has them for the 12 bolt...per Mark at RMS.

Re: Relocation Brackets and 12 Bolt question.... lol, randy it is a bit long! i think you just delete it in my home up top of the screen, and you can fix it by choosing "use UBBcode" since that is what it looks like your code was originally in your original sig. it is right above where you edit your sig. mine looked the same as your when trying to hyperlink and title it in the sig.
