Help i need some information on a 12 bolt build up. my family owns a salvage yard and yesterday i found 2 12 bolt rearends for GM. I wanted to build one upfor my 98 camaro. if you had this opportunity what would you put in it. i need to know every peice from bearings to gears (410 in my opinion) but i need help please guys.

Be sure that these junked 12-bolts will accept a torque arm. As far as I know GM never built a factory 12-bolt for a torque arm-equipped car.

 

yes odds are not in your favor of having one that will bolt up.. like 0%

you will have to fab up the lower control arm mounts since it will be set up for leaf springs and fab up a torque arm mount as well.
