Default Went from 323's to 373's. Have ?'s

I just had my readend changed from 323's to 373's. What change do you think I will see in the 1/4? Also, what size stall do you think I should get? I was thinking about a 3500! My car is a 2000 Formula that is not my main transportation, but I want to keep it very streetable. Heads and cam are in the very near future. Thanks for your input!!!!!

you'll see around .2 from the switch, another .1 or so if your shift points were off and are now raised too.

A 3500 stall is the minimum I would get. It will be looser than stock, but with 3.73s will be quite tolerable.

What gains would be possible with both the gear change and 3500 stall?

Here's an interesting 3.23-->3.73 gear ratio question. What would the rpm difference be from 3.23 to 3.73 at the traps? I was always under the impression you have to be at your peak HP rpm in the 1:1 gear as you cross the traps. But I was talking to a friend of mine (used to race Pro-Stock in the '70s), and he mentioned you have to be slightly under your peak HP rpm as you cross the traps (due to the averaging time equipment) or you'll "run out of breath" before finish the complete run. Currently I cross the traps at ~4700 rpms with 3.23s, what would my rpms be with 3.73s? I now it wouldn't be just 300-400 rpms higher, becuase the engine would be allowed to spool up quicker in every gear, thus changing the MPH and rpms. What have been your (those that did the 3.23-->3.73 swap) experience? My buddy recommended 3.42s as a good balance between track and street, basically I'll be able to keep my "streetability". I just don't want to be left beggin gfor more. I just want 12s flat at our local sea level track!

Edit: BTW, I am running on 26x11.5x16 ET Streets at the track (If that matters).

Most peeps see probably a whole second off their ET with a gear and converter change.

Does the gas mileage change alot with a 3500-4000 stall. Of course I'm talking about normal driving!
