i took my tranny and 10bolt for a ride today...

Heads and cam car with a 150 shot... has to be 4L60E TRANSMISSION... what brand is the best? Flp? etc?

I have the FLP IV trans, having minor problems, but there self-inflicted <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> Chuck is a great guy, and his tranny hold up. Get it.

I`ll have to put another vote in for FLP. I just changed my Trans mount back to stock actually, it just shifts so hard especially with the 3 disk Vig. and poly mounts (minus preload plate and bumps)

What the hell is the diffrence between the #7 pump vig 3600 stall i have.. and a 3 disk-5 disc vig?

It`s designed to be locked up at the track without damaging the converter. It`s gonna take some getting used to, it`s like another shift when it locks up, really quick and snappy.. shakes the whole depending on the speed. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
