help with putting together a 9" PLEASE

Default help with putting together a 9" PLEASE

m trying to put this f'ing thing together and i cant figure out getting the axles all the way in. I have one in but now i cant figure out how the hell to start a bolt for the backing plate, the bots are through the flanges but the holes are so close to the housing i cannont get the nut to start on them, is there susposed to be a nut on the back because mine were not tapped, i dont get how this crap stays together
its a moser 9" btw

Don't know if your having the same probs I was, but check out the post on DRIVER'S AXLE DOESN'T FIT. The backing plate holds the axles in.Make sure your bearings are pressed good.

bearings are pressed correctly and axle is all the way in im just trying to figure out how to tighten the backing plate

I used a box wrench.Do you have T-bolts,or are you putting the OE bolt's in?There should be a hole in the axle hub to get a ratchet in.If anything take the parking brakes off to get in there.The nut should be facing toward the wheel.

i was using the OE bolts, i didnt know thats what the t-bolts are for, how do i get the parking break rings off?

your kit should have came with t bolts, they go in from the back side and the nuts go on the plates.

yup, figured that out now, had to cut the stockers out and got it all solved, thanks for the help guys
