TruTrac+MS4+150 shot?!?!
As some may remember my last post about my detroit locker, I cant handle it lol. I just cant take all the poppin and banging that it comes with. I called bob at EPP today, and had a talk with him about it. Told him my plans for the car, is MS4 with 125-150 shot wet kit. I figure I would be real close to the breaking limit of 600hp of the trutrac. Also I am M6 so I leave alot harder than an auto obviously. Bob suggested I go with a spool. I'm skeptical about the spool tho...My car isnt a daily driver but I probably put over 500 miles on it per week, so I drive it a pretty good bit. Also my dad likes to drive it every once in a while and he wont touch it with that locker in there. So I would like some opions on what I should do....do you think the tru track would hold up? Or should I go with a spool? The spool wont be noisey like the locker, but will be hard trying to turn into a parking spot, and sharp slow turns, right? I think I can deal with that, but I surely cant handle the locker trying to drive my car for me. Or trying to swap ends with me when I change gears. Sorry for the long post, just would like to get some feedback from people who drive their spooled cars, and from people who have beat on their trutrac's with a good amount of horsepower
Thanks alot guys...

i make 572 rwhp through my six speed with my cam and nitrous setup, and have 60'd 1.53-1.47 7 times on it with no probs so far. Id say do the tru trac, its so nice to drive.

Another vote for TrueTrac. I dump a 150 on my MS3 car that makes 555rwhp and it takes it perfectly so far.
6600RPM clutch dumps on slicks and the TrueTrac sucks it up and does its job - all the way to multiple 1.4x 60' times in a 3700lb street car.
