traction control

I just got a '99 Trans Am and it doesn't have traction control. is there anyway to install just the optional factory system? i want the traction control, but i also want the ability to turn it off... email me if ya feel like it - c3l3stial000@charter.net

can i ask why you want it? I have it and the first thing I do is reach up and hit that button to turn it off when I get in the car...

I want to get ride of mine its useless with as much power as im making.
anyone now how to switch it out. would like to get ride of the control modual to save weight.
i see the people with just cruise have two cables going to the trottle body. mine has two cables to a cylider thinggy (control modual) then one cable back to the throttle body.

i think somthing might be different with the rear end too.
