A4 with 4:10s
I did in my old car. I'll be putting 3.73s in this one. Most guys here will tell you to go 3.73s I promise you that....If you drive on the highway very much...listen to them. 4.10s are alot of fun to blast around on, but 3.73s are perfect if you ask me. 
I have 3.73s in mine and I love it. I am running a 26" tire and it spins roughly 2300rpm at 65mph. If you get a taller tire you should be just about right. 4.10s would be cool but never plan on taking that thing out of town ever.
vague question - but I agree with the posted answers.
However my current car is a non lock up 700R4 with 4.10 and it's a blast - highway too. Gas economy is gone - but 3.73 won't bring that back anyway

Verdad Gallardo i wouldn't think that it would be terrible in the city where you really don't go so fast, but if you travel on the hi-way a lot, it wouldn't be great idea. My opinion. I would love to have 4.10s but it's DD and drive on the hi-ways once an a while
