Im going to get a used posi to bandaid my 10 bolt while saving for a 9".
I know F-Bodies came with Auburns, and Torsens. I also know GM had the G80 in the S-10 etc which is a Eaton for the 7.5 rears.
In your opinions which is the better of the three for street strip applications. I know Eaton makes a dynamite differental. I've heard both ways on the Auburn and Torsen. Some say the Torsen with its non clutch construction is better then the Aubuns, but have also heard the Auburns were the better of the two.
Right now I am leaning toward getting an Eaton (G80) but would love to hear some of you experts chime. Noise wise how do they stack up, traction wise etc.
This is going in my daily driver with 3.73s. I use DRs at the track.
