weird noises when im going thro the gears and i hit 3 it sounds like the shifter is popping, and its not that im missing a gear cause the clutch is in when it makes the noise

Re: weird noises Dude... Last time I heard that noise I lost the synchros in 5th gear.... Took it to the dealer, they opened up the tranny to find just metal shavings, no fluid... just metal shavings in a goo that used to be my fluid. Better get that checked out ASAP. I had to get a new tranny (fortunately it was under manuf. war.)
