rear end goin out need help

rear end goin out need help my 2000 SS A4 rear is goin out. The bearings and seals are shot and idk if i want to just fix this one or just replace it. I have future plans on building the car up later once i get the money. Im in the military and im at the bottom of the barrell on pay so what should i do? Save up and get a new one or just fix the current POS?

If you have plans to build it up later, I would bite the bullet and get a good rear end now....
If you're in a pinch for money, you could get a new master install kit (all bearings, seals, etc) for around $100, and find someone to install it for around $200-$300.
