Noise from rear: WoWoWoW what is it?
I have the same wooshwooshwooshwoosh noise and I'll be tearing it apart tomorrow to change the fluid and figure out what the deal is.
Worst case scenario, I can't change the bearings right away. Is it still safe to drive? Is the noise the worst thing I have to worry about, or should I be worried about the rear end seizing up and getting towed home? Dumb noob question I know, but I never had to worry about this in my thirdgen. Nice job General

mine moans mostly when i turn at very low speeds. what could cause this? bearings? checked the fluid and it was a little high, but not dirty or anything. also, when i am at high speeds on the highway like 70-80 just cruising, if i turn the wheel to the right, i feel a vibration and a slight noise, but when i turn the wheel to the left it goes away. this just started happening a couple days ago, but the rear has moaned at low speed turns for a long time.
