Default What driveshaft loop does everyone recommend?

I am considering the SLP or BMR. Any major advantages/disadvantages between the two or are they pretty much the same?

Thanks

I have the SLP. No complaints here. It was a snao to install too.

You can look it up on Jegs, P/N is 18022.

Anyone know if that Jegs DS loop will work with a car that has SLP LTs?

The BMR won't fit. Been there and done that. I have the Lakewood and I love it. It fits perfectly with my BMR TA and FLPs.

I'm using a Metco, but with SLP Dual-Dual & stock Y-pipe. Nice piece, but don't know how it works w/other Y-pipes, or headers....Anyone using Metco w/aftermarket Y's or headers? WJ. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I also got the Red Metco, took a whopping 10 minutes to put in, and didn't have to take anything off, bolted right up to existing holes!

I have the Lakewood #18022, and it was designed very well. I'm still going to have to grind some on it because it's just BARELY touching my y-collector. I'm running the FLP headers and ORP with a Flowmaster y-collector, and it's just wide enough to vibrate on the DS loop. It's nothing that a little bit of grinding won't take care of.

I recommend the Lakewood DSL (be sure to specify #18022). It will clear the majority of exhaust setups, it uses the stock cross-member holes, and it's cheaper than the BMR, etc. FYI, I tried a BMR DSL a year ago at the NFRA event, and it was nowhere near close to clearing my FLP y-pipe. I felt violated after giving $100 for it.
