Default Strange 12 bolt fill plug question

Noob question. First off, the fill plug is located towards the top on the aluminum LPW cover right? Do you use an allen wrench to remove the fill plug and if so what size is it? Thanks.

Why not? I fill mine from the cover, easier for me to fill from there.
