Unbolt retainer plates from axle tube/ backing plate & pull axles out.

If I'm not mistaken for a 9" since they dont have c-clips you just pull the wheel off, take the brakes off, then unbolt the backing plate and the whole thing should just slide out. I know this because my backing plate bolts came loose on me while driving and my whole axle/wheel/brake assembly came out of the car.

Yah it was crazy. I posted about it when it happened. Here's the link.

Make sure to check your backing plate bolts frequently. It's easy to check em and will save you a scary time should they come off. Mine have plenty of red locktite on them now
