Moser 12-bolt: A Work of Art I have to say that this is the most well engineered, thought out item I have ever installed that is such a major part of the performance of a vehicle. We had the assembly in in less than an hour. Everything else maybe took another hour from removing the old brake backing plates to hooking up the sensors and what-not. Everything fits perfectly, nothing is out of whack or needs a BFH to be put in place. I was ready for a HUGE headache doing this in the garage floor but its a cakewalk. Tomorrow we are pressing the bearings on the axles and a new u-joint and in they go. Bolt the calipers on and its done. I just cant believe how easy and straightforward this was. I have some pics below for your enjoyment. I pulled the rear cover off and needed a moment to myself after seeing the beefyness of the internals compared to what I had before. Enjoy!!

Re: Moser 12-bolt: A Work of Art i think you will need to paint it if you want it to stay looking good, at least some clear, it will rust up in a hurry.
i went for gloss black on mine.

Re: Moser 12-bolt: A Work of Art If you don't have the bearings pressed on yet then I'm guessing you haven't tried to put the abs sensors on yet. I had to grind notches on the end of my tubes for the sensors to clear. Mine was a 4 channel setup. I still can't believe a $2500 rear end doesn't come with 8 nuts needed for the install.

Re: Moser 12-bolt: A Work of Art Those are the 33 spline axles and I got 3.73 gears. I pressed the bearings on last night and I have 3 channel ABS so I dont have to worry about the exciter rings on the axles. And yes, I have to go buy some nuts today. I wonder why they dont supply them?

because those end nuts backed off.
