SPEC 4 Disc Material? Break-in/Daily Driver? I'm strongly leaning towards a SPEC 4 clutch. Looking for comments from anyone with same. Which disc material did you use? What Hydraulics are you using?
How streetable/smooth is your setup for stop and go or daily driving??

Re: SPEC 4 Disc Material? Break-in/Daily Driver? i have the spec s4 full ceramic disc, unsprung (no springs in the middle, no spacers, all solid metal <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> )
i have all factory 2001 hydraulics, resurfaced flywheel and using the shim supplied by spec
i gave 500 miles smooth driving then beat it to hell, still good.
has been through maybe 20 4krmp 2 step dumps on 11.5 et streets
if you drive it right there is little chatter,sometimes none, i think its great, and the pedal isnt stiff as a **** either.

Break-in/Daily Driver? i have stage 3 ceramic in my street car everyday driver it will chatter pretty good when you first get it till it breaks in and you learn how to drive it after 500 miles do a few 3k dumps and it gets alot more friendly <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I think I'm leaning towards SPEC 4 Kevlar or SPEC 3 Ceramic.
Anyone remember where Carbon fits into the mix? More grippy or less than ceramic?
