How to check pinion angle without a lift How do I do this without a lift? I am wondering if putting the car up on jacks and loading the axle with a jack will provide an accurate pinion angle.

Re: How to check pinion angle without a lift Why are you checking pinion angles? The reason I'm asking is normally you want the vehicle at its normal ride height to check pinion angles. No more than 3* difference between trans and rearend (for a everyday driver). This slightly changes for drag cars or for adjustable rearends that are being set up for the track.
