I got a clue - well sort off - haha. What are you doing with a ford 9''? You building yourself a new rear? My car is actually getting the tranny fixed at the moment - man its been a major pain in the @ss, but let me tell you - the rental car is taking a beating to make up for it.

BTW, how's the weather up there? You get the ice storm?

I've already got everything for the center section, and I'll be ordering a housing soon.
Brandon, give that rental hell Hopefully I'll have it setup in time for February. I think Alen wants to run to Montgomery next weekend. You up for it? Let's give that tranny rebuild a real test

Montgomery isn't going to work for me next weekend. I'm going home for winter break and I'll be gone till January 5th I believe. After I get back we'll do something.

Although none of us has a shot now that you'll have a decent rear in that car.

well, i don't know of anyone in atlanta. But I now of someone in Chatanooga that is damn good with 9". I have seen him set up multiple rears for alcohol cars and what not. I have never heard any of them whine (on the street cars, can't hear the alcohol cars). He does a real good job, is reliable and cheap.
PM me or repost if you are interested and i will give you the name and phone

Let it be known that i am not trying to disregard any of our sponsors, but this individual is really good and his shop is not well known. The name of the shop is IN-Tune Motorsports, His name is Scott Bowens.
I talked to him 5 minutes ago and he was going to go out for a while and pay his quarterly taxes. Usually there is more people there but he was supposed to take a trip yesterday to look at a lamborghini in miami but the customer, changed his mind at the last second. If this is deleted I understand but the phone number is 423-336-5850. They do have an answering machine just leave a message. To tell you about the shop.
3 lifts
nitrous fill station
mustang inground dyno
as well as a fully staffed machin shop right next door. his prices on parts are killer to.
I got my flywheel and a few other things through him. He is also going to install a 8.8 in my car before the end of the month. i hope this helps i will PM you this as well so i know you get it.

Oh yeah to be fair he really is the only shop between here and atlanta, knoxville and memphis I trust. No names, but bad experiences. I think more people need to know about him.

Thanks Boo Yeah. I would love to let one of the sponsors on here set it up for me, but no one is remotely near Atlanta, and I don't want to ship it off. I will be calling him today

mine will be 28 spline axles (never seen a 10 second car or 9 strip 28 spline so why cost horsepower if you don't need it) and it will be an oem posi for a mustang unless i decide other wise
