Default 8.8 REAR ENDS

I AM THE MAN THAT MAKES THE 8.8 REARS FIT UNDER THE CAMARO . I ALSO HAVE A CAMARO IT MAKES ABOUT 600HP BUT IT IS A ROAD RACE CAR

Sounds interesting, but only sponsors are allowed to advertise their wares on the board. Please click on the Advertise on LS1Tech button at the bottom of the list for more info.

Sent ya an e-mail. What's the name? Will these rears be setup for ABS/TCS? What kind of warranty or guarantee you got?

Looks good! What is the weight of the rear end w/ fluid? Trying to figure out if its heavier or lighter than a 12 bolt..

I spoke to the man and he seemed really knowledgable and nice. So I will help him out by telling all of you the answers you all want to know. This is how it works.....

He uses a set of stock axle tubes from a camaro, with theses and a stock housing and axle tubes from a mustang he basically make a reducer from the mustangs axle tube to the camaros. He makes all the brackets and everything to bolt the rearend up to the car as well as increasing the strength of the rear of the car through customs bars and what not. Due to the way he does all this you use the end of both your axle tubes this allows you to use all camaro wheels, brakes, abs, tcs, and everything just goes back the way it was, nothing can be looked at and told any difference without looking at the center.

Please don't get me wrong this is not very easy to make. He has a full jig and all this other equipment to make and prepare this setup. He also will adjust the pinion as desired for those of us who may need that. Also he does have a patent and everything on this whole process. From what i was told this is not an overnight developement he has been working on this for a while and I personally am not going to try to attempt to replicate this.

This is also with a new housing and whatever gear 3.73 3.90 etc you want. This comes with 28 spline axles and a oem posi.

I let the tech content stay, money and advertisiing deleted.

no, but if that was meant as a hint. None of the sponsors have shown any attempt to try and make an 8.8 work. Nor will they. Everyone is going to move to 4.6 mustang stuff or they will suffer. We all need to face it we are now a dying breed. So since he is the only one who is making these rearends fit. Also there is a patent on the way he does it. so there is no way they could do it the same, hence it is something no one can sell unless he sells them to them..... I am not trying to start any type of fight just spread the word. Mr. Hood is not in this for the money at all.
