guys
2007 chevy tahoe
truck weighs a good 7500 pounds
has a ls7 motor with cam bolts on etc.
on spray its making a little over 650hp.
Anyone make a rear end for this thing?
the trailblazer ss's seem to be able to be pullin front ends off the ground yet at the track itll break an axle with goin anythign over 1/4 throttle.
Anyone got a solution.
even id it has to be custom built. truck is daily driven. will see the track.
even if has to be custom built. anyone who knows somewone who can do it or has done it.

I'm not sure, but do those have the 8.5in rearend?
I'm also gonna guess that you could probably swap a rearend out of a 2500-3500 series suburban/silverado easily. Probably be an almost direct swap, and probably find one with 3.73s - 4.10s easily. Just a thought tho.

will look into the truck rear ends though.
would those be any more beafier then a stock tahoe rear end???

I would look into the HD trucks, may even check out a diesel truck forum and see what those guys are using, cause they are probably running a butt load more torque than you are. ( I'm talking about the high performance diesels that drag race)

weight wont matter. be able to get a better time with more weight then a 2.2 60 foot babying it. SUV still retains 4 wheels drive TV screens system ETC.
anywhere i can get some info on that rear end?

the next problem is they're all setup for 8 lug rims & leaf springs, I could be wrong but i thought the newwer tahoes use coils. So you'd have to convert the spring perches, but its doable.
Try a google search for "am 14 bolt full floater" im not sure where you could get one short of pulling it from 3/4 or 1 ton truck but they are alot of 4x4 guys that run them
