I keep reading about this torsen rear and SS camaro's, I have a 2 k SS. Is that what comes in them?

 

All 98 up Fbodies start out with Torsens.

Some SLP optioned SS and Firehawk's have an Auburn.

 

Not positive on this but I think in '98 and '99 the Torsen was optional (maybe standard?) in the SS. The Auburn was standard in the Z28. In '00 and up the Auburn is optional in the SS (maybe standard?) and the Torsen came standard in the Z28.

What I DO know for a fact is that at least in the '00s and up the Torsen is standard.

I like the Torsen best, btw.
