Default 3.73 to 3.42s

Thinking of swapping my rear end for one out of a ls1 6mt with 3.42s. How much should i gain/lose considering i will be going to a torsen but losing some gear?

Don't expect a much of an improvement changing from 3.42 to 3.73. The difference was barely noticable when I did it.

Acually i am changing from a 3.73 to a 3.42.

But what your saying is there shouldn't be much of a differance at all, considering i will have more traction due to the torsen.

I misread your initial post. My guess would be that going from 3.73 with a broken LSD to a 3.42 with a functional LSD will pick you up some at the track, at the cost of losing a little bit of that seat of the pants feeling during normal driving.
