How do you shift your auto

(2.73/3500 stall,OD locks up at ~50)
There is absolutely no advantage,otherwise,to manually shifting gears, with a 4L60E.

I wouldn't shift into 1st until you are stopped or accelerating back up. That's how I do mine anyway.
