crap... So my rear end has been noisy for about 40k miles. I think it started out as the pinion nut backing off a hair one night when I went to dump the clutch and accidentaly left the traction control on. No noise for the rest of the night but the next morning it was loud as hell.
Well now occasionally as I am taking off from a stop with a slight turn I can feel the rear end make a "clunk"... and when it clunks I can usually feel what I think is the inside wheel unsticking. It makes the clunk and it feels like the car makes a small hop to the side.
I cant really confirm that the wheen is dragging or anything like that, but I can definately feel and hear a clunk some times when I take off from a stop and turn at the same time.
Has the pin almost come out of the grenade?
