which 12 bolt moser or strange?
i have the moser and LOVE it. mine is actually quieter then my stock 10bolt. everything bolted togeather nice (not REAR swaybar)i dont have one on and dont miss it. the rear takes one hell of a beating, overall i'm happy with the product.some people are having bad luck with noise and for the money they paid,i think that sucks. goodluck to you and them.

Why don't you have a rear sway bar on? I believe all you have to do is get some 3" ubolt clamps and the swaybar will mount right up to the Moser. There is no advantage whatsoever of not running a rear swaybar.

I have minimal whine..just a little at 60 or 65 at part throttle.
I have heads going on in a few weeks and should put down 430ish...so we'll see how the rear likes that under 1.6ish passes next year.
Find a sponsor with a GP. You can't go wrong with ethier setup.
That's probably because none of them are running fast enough for it to matter (are any of them running at least 8s in the 1/4?) I didn't say the Strange housing (which I believe is a factory GM housing) is weak. I said the Moser housing (which MOSER designed from the ground up to be even stronger than their 9") is stronger.
Having said that, I think either housing is strong enough for just about any of us, myself included.
i tried to put the rearsway on with muffler clamps,it did'nt work. i drove with it off and did'nt notice a real difference with it off,so i just never put it back on. i will add it back on sooner or later.

Spohn makes a kit to do it. It's not that hard to modify the stock ones to work if you have some welding skillz or access to someone who does.
Not having a rear swaybar is really bad for starting line traction.
The Moser is the stronger unit. Just don't let Moser set the gears.

You can actually order the rear and ask them not to set the gears for you?

When I meant I'd do it myself, I meant in my garage. I'd have a friend there. No need to pay someone what you can do yourself.
