how much tranny fluid ?

how much tranny fluid ? I jsut did a clutch upgrade on my 99SS and when i removed the tranny I drained the fluid , for some fresh add fluid, I plan on adding it through the shifter opening as the pro 5.0 is still off, Question is how much fluid does the m6 take , and/or how can i mesure it

Re: how much tranny fluid ? Dry is 4 1/2 quarts, so ~4 quarts ought to do.
One way you can do it is to remove the fill hole plug, and then fill through the shifter hole. When tranny fluid starts running down the side of the tranny (out the fill hole), you're done. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
