wieght diff between a fab 9 and a reg 9" just say both with an aluminum center(or iron doesnt really matter), 35 spline axles and a spool.
i want to go the lightest route...... i know the fab 9 is to be stronger.... i'm automatically thinking strength= more wieght..... but it looks as if it would be lighter. I will probably be going with the chromemoly housing also.
that moser fab 9 is one beautiful piece! I love that thing!
p.s. i looked on moser's site and couldnt find anything on wieght differences... just all about strength..... but considering on only gunna have a 408 with a 300 shot..... a reg 9 would be sufficient

I believe the difference is 42 lbs, and the M9 rear (fabricated) is the lighter one.
