Are Strange gears worth the extra $$ ?

Are Strange gears worth the extra $$ ? Stepping up from a lowly 2.73 gear to 3.73 in a couple weeks. Are the Strange gears any better than Motives? What's the difference? Worth the extra $35?

Re: Are Strange gears worth the extra $$ ? Actually I had both Strange and Motive. The Motives progressively got noisier with each pass, the Strange gears had a little whine, not untollerable. I spent the extra cash and got the Origional GM Gear Set. Dead quiet now...
Re: Are Strange gears worth the extra $$ ? I've got the Motive performance gears, there are two motives: the ones in the red/blue box & the Performance gears in the red/yellow box. Mine have been quite from day one and I've put ~5000mi on them. Gear noise has alot to do with who installs them. Find a person that you fell will take the time to set it up several times to make sure it's correct. It may cost $50 more for a good installer but you will be much happier. I paid $250. I had a hard time finding the Performance gears, I ended up getting them from Speed Inc. I noticed Thunder had them on special the other day for ~$175. Good Luck
