Default CF driveshafts: PST or ACPT ?

I've recently found a PST ( Precision shaft technologies ) shaft for sale for my car. The only shaft I ever read about on the big 3 fbody forums is the ACPT shaft. Is there any known reason for this ? I am into ORR ( silverstateclassic.com ) racing and need one of these to help keep my car on the road in case of failure. It would never be exposed to high rpm clutch dumps, just very fast speeds ( possibly up to 200 mph ) Anybody out there have the PST shaft ?
