drill mod help needed quick

drill mod help needed quick i cant get the quick disconnect fitting off of the transmission. install university says there is a white plastic ring and i dont see a white plastic ring please help. Thanks

Re: drill mod help needed quick Use two hooked scratch-alls and press around the plug.
It's there, it is what is keeping the line in place.
There will be a small gap between the brass plug and the female receptacle.
Press in there.
It looks like a flaty white plastic broken band, except it's not broken.

Re: drill mod help needed quick there is the brass thing and then a greenish color thing that is on the outside. is it between the two? i have been trying for a few hours now with no luck.

Re: drill mod help needed quick It is a white plastic band...I used two flat head screw drivers to push the white plastic band towards the tranny...once it is pushed all the way in...you should be able to pull the line right out with ease....just use two screwdrivers on opposite sides of the plastic band and push together...
